Why another seller tool
Numbers with receipts
Popular seller SEO tools sell certainty they don't have: search-volume charts, competition scores, letter grades. Etsy doesn't publish that data — so those numbers are guesses wearing lab coats our claim.
Listing Clarity only tells you things it can back up. Findings cite Etsy's own Seller Handbook direct or say plainly "this is our heuristic" our claim. When the honest answer is unknown, that's what you'll read.
How it works
Three steps, no dashboard
-
Install the extension
No account, no onboarding. Everything runs locally in your browser direct — the source is readable, check it.
-
Open any Etsy listing
Yours or a competitor's. The panel appears on the page with findings on title, tags, photos, and price.
-
Fix what's flagged
Each finding says what to change and why — including copyable tag ideas drawn from the listing's own category derived.
Always free
The market snapshot
On any marketplace search page, Listing Clarity summarizes what's actually ranking: price range, review depth, how many results are ads derived. Ads are filtered out of the stats, because paid placement tells you about budgets, not about demand. The snapshot is free forever, no daily limit our claim.

Fair questions
Asked and answered
- Does it collect my data?
- No. No analytics, no tracking, no data server. Analysis happens in your browser and stays there direct — see the privacy policy.
- Why don't you show search volume like other tools?
- Because Etsy doesn't publish it. Any tool showing you Etsy search volume is estimating and rarely says how. We'd rather show fewer numbers you can trust.
- Will it tell me my titles are too short?
- No — Etsy's current guidance recommends short, clear titles direct. Tools still flagging short titles are optimizing for 2019.
- Is this affiliated with Etsy?
- No. Independent project, one developer, no affiliation with Etsy, Inc.
